About us

A history of helping

The MJH Golf Classic was established in 1992 to raise awareness and funding for the Joshua House, which opened in the same year. This fundraising event was created by Olin Mott, Terry Moore, and Joe Hafner and has been generously supported and sponsored for over 31 years.

With the help of a very talented and dedicated group of sponsors and committee members, the tournament has grown over the years. This year, the tournament is hosted at Top-Rated TPC Tampa Bay in Lutz, Florida on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January.

The MJH Golf Classic has supported Joshua House and its facilities, and has been instrumental in changing the academic performance, self-confidence, and futures of over 1500 children both at Joshua House and in the Public School system. Learn more about the children’s charities we support.
